Assistant/Associate Analyst
(Solid Waste)
HF&H Consultants, LLC is seeking a full-time professional to join our Northern California consulting practice in Walnut Creek.
Position Summary:
The successful candidate will work in a team atmosphere and perform assignments for our municipal clients and enhance our internal resources. Assignments will include a variety of interesting tasks including the collection of data and analyzing it for mathematical accuracy and logical consistency, performing research to acquire data to add to or update the firm’s resources, performing national and regional surveys, and preparing written description of work performed and findings. The work will also include identifying practice development opportunities and assisting in the preparation of marketing and sales materials. A working knowledge of Microsoft Office products is essential. The candidate will work closely with project team members and under the direction of a project manager.
Position Qualifications:
• Minimum of B.S. Degree in accounting, finance, engineering, public administration, environmental studies or related field of study
• 2-5 years of professional work experience, solid waste/recycling experience a plus
• Excellent computer skills, including Excel, Word, and Powerpoint
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Ability to meet deadlines under pressure
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
Compensation:
HF&H Consultants, LLC offers an attractive total compensation package. Compensation dependent on qualifications and experience, but includes bonus, 401(k), profit sharing and other benefits.
